Sharing Book Trails with the Community

Beyond the boxes — meeting neighbors where they are.

National Night Out at Hoover Park was an exciting opportunity to bring Book Trails beyond our library boxes and share its story directly with the community. I spoke with families, neighborhood leaders, public-safety representatives, and Cupertino Mayor Kitty Moore about how Book Trails is making books more accessible through hand-painted neighborhood libraries.

I especially enjoyed presenting the idea to a larger audience and seeing their enthusiasm for bringing Book Trails to more communities. What began as a chance to present our initiative became an unforgettable evening of connection, learning, and new possibilities.
